The first Straw-Rope Production Association in Taiwan was set up in Oct. 2006. This Association is built to achieve the goal of co-producing and co-selling related straw products (straw ropes and straw sheet mainly). Hoping to solve the problems of burring straws in the open air, and turn the trash into valuable products.

Straw-Rope Production Association has started to export beautiful straw-ropes to Japan, and farmers in this association can gain extra income in their leisure farming seasons. The related news popped up to several TV and Newspaper media in 2006.
